South Carolina currently has rolled out a new voting system that is 100% paperless.  Without a voter-verified paper trail there is no way to be certain the vote tabulations that are reported are correct. South Carolina is a very important state in terms of national politics. It is one of the first primaries in both political parties so the stakes could not be greater.  Just image a technical error that switches or loses a few votes.  Our next President may be determined by SC's poor choice of voting systems instead of the will of the people.
