2008 Election UPDATE:  Failure to pass federal legislation means Georgia's 2008 elections will be subject to fraud, malfuctions, and complete catastophe.

Georgia is one of two states that has 100% Diebold touchscreen paperless DREs.  Georgia is one of the worst states in the nation as far as voting systems.  Georgia's elections are completely open to malicious tampering and horrible technical failures which could change the outcome in any race in any direction.  Because the Secretary of State has refused to go to a verified system of voting, there is no papertrail and thereby no ability to ever find out if an error has occured and no ability to correct it. 

It is a sad day that in 2008, Iraq has a better election system than the state of Georgia.
